We usually want our words to show people how human we are. And as we tell people about who God is, we want people to know that God relates to humans on so many levels. I’d rather people hear how much like a tree I am–and how tree-like God can be.
Mark Gray was a created a person of value. He thought himself worthless after abuse, addiction, incarceration, and failure. But our worth isn’t determined by the labels and criticisms stuck to us and in us. Mark’s story shares why even the most broken of people have value.

Marital issues, affairs, murder, unwanted pregnancies, divorce, and dependency. This is the part of the story that is about more than being broken, it is about breaking others.
The things we can measure (size for example) don’t determine value. Life is about being the best version of yourself wherever you are planted. That’s true for trees. That’s also true for people.
